Yea, someone else should chime in. I wonder what happened to the others. If it carries on like t his we might as well mee tin Halesowen..

 

Derby's not amazing. It's got some sort of film gallery/archive or something, but I;ve never been in (and I can't find it online), a vegan shop, and, um, I know of nothing else. Oh, some decent pubs.

I've never really been to Derby; only through it, so that might be fun. Yes suggestions would be good; hopefully someone else will make one...

I'm up for travelling too, I suppose we could go to Cov but I don't really know the place well at all. Notts is always good. I suppose there's Derby, but is anyone here even in Derby?

 

I'm definitely open to suggestions.

Ah I see :/ yeah I'm popping down; having to coach it this year though.
Hmm yeah we could do Brum again; we'll have to see who else is coming along and where they're coming from. I don't mind travelling tbh, but you're right, there are a bunch of places we could go in Brum. As for other places, Nottingham went down well, I know Petrova's from Coventry...and that's about the extent of my knowledge of the Midlands...
Does anyone else have any ideas / come from anywhere else in the Midlands..?

I dunno, I'd vote for Brum cos I live in Brum and I am selfish and lazy. I wonder if we could use a room at We Are Birmingham? If it's sunny we could go hang out with the Pigeons by the Cathedral. I'm half tempted to nominate Kings Heath cos then I can just roll out of bed to meet zinesters. And we have a vegan greasy spoon now ;-)

 

You got any ideas?

The Birmingham Zine Fest is busy being organized! The day of the zine fair is July 9th and it will be held at the http://wearebham.com/ shop.

 

However, I'm going back to Canada in a couple of weeks, so won't have much to do with organizing it. If any of you guys are go check out the website and give them an email. http://www.birminghamzinefestival.com/
