I'd been planning to go, but I'm flate-broke :-(

Don't forget to check out Mega Train! I got a return for london for 4.50 recently and it takes less than hal;f the time of the coach (1hr26mins).

Man, Ishould work for Mega Train PR or sumthin.

Just thought I'd ask who is going / thinking of going to the London Zine Symposium next Saturday? I figure if a few people from the Midlands are going it might be an idea to go down together maybe? I was thinking of coaching it from Brum if anyone had a similar idea..? Thought I'd post this now as I need time to book my ticket.

Hehe. My main problem here is to come up with something worthwhile to put in there. So for I have an article about a dog (don't ask) and a list of what I'd do if the world was flat.
To put this simply, it's not looking hopeful for me right now.
But I'm gonna give it a go. Just don't hang around for me.

OH oh oh! Even if you don't want to contribute something to the zine, you can always help us name it! While "The Midlands Zinester Zine for Zinereaders" has some charm, I think I'd rather call this something else.

Meh, I thought your conversations were randomly interesting. I'm just naturally one of those people who lurks and listens, not really caring to get a word in edgeways...when face to face with people anyway. I can talk for England on here :)

The hard part now is getting me to shut up. £50 to whoever manages it.

colaborative zines FTW!

I'll try to knock somthing up inthe next couple o' weeks.

Sorry if anyone thought I was overpowering at the meet-up. I don't listen to what I say, so I certainly don't except you to, but awkward silences make me want to die.

Yeah, Saturday was cool :) I'm working on issue three of my zine over the next couple of weeks but it shouldn't be too much trouble to get something to you by the end of the month Matt :)

You didn't get a chance 'cos we all sat in silence. Ten different accounts of how the conversation was mainly between three people would, indeed, be rather dull. Kudos to anyone who could make that interesting.

End of the month...let's see. Well, Hannah and I go on study leave on Wednesday/Thursday and then we have our first exam on the 24th. Might be manageable. I'll give it a go anyway :)

Hurray! Thanks to everyone that came out for the event on Saturday, it was nice to meet all of you, even if I didn't really get a chance to talk to you very much.

Anyway, clearly it is now time to make the 2nd Midlands Zinesters Zine. This one doesn't have to be about the meetup (as to be honest, I think ten different accounts of the same meeting might get a bit dull), but can be anything you want!

Even if you weren't there feel free to contribute something. Email your submissions to tomorrowboy@gmail.com

What do you think a good deadline would be? End of the month?

But, erm, there's no point in me watching any of the election stuff since I don't get a darn say anyway, even if the stuff affects us as well!

Sorry, but I've always been pretty annoyed that 16 year olds are adults in so many things but no one seems to trust us to vote for the right party. Sure, a lot of 16 year olds aren't bothered about elections so the worst that can happen is they just don't turn up to vote. Big deal!

*sighs*
