Hello everyone! I was just going to give you a heads up about my first zine I made about a month ago. It's about dealing with anxiety and panic attacks. This is based upon experience and what my psychologist has told me, haha. If you want, you can check it out here. :) Thank you for looking!

If you’d like to hear it // I can sing it for you is an independent zine seeking submissions for Issue #001! This zine is focused on memory loss, and the negotiation of an aging and pathological body/brain and a “forgetful” self in an unaccommodating world, as well as accounts of chronic illness and the end-of-life experiences of an aging self.

We are seeking writings (300-500 words), photos, and artwork from folks in all of life’s ages and stages. This work is centered on intellectual/emotional criticisms and personal experiences of aging, illness, and death from caregivers, patients, and advocates. We are exploring the radical sociologies of aging, caregiving, and aging advocacy, as well as the experiences of mental health/wellness in all of these.

Please email agingzine@gmail.com with questions!

This is the first time I've posted here so no doubt none of you are familiar with my 5-years-running series, but just in case... I have printed the last run of Letters to My Therapist, whatever is in the Etsy is what's left. There is some anxiety involved in regurgitating old stories, and I sort of mentally feel like I can't move on without putting this to bed. I have a few singles left and I'm selling the rest in a bundle. Check them out... thanks! Open for trades on the singles for this series, just let me know what interests you. michelle@busyweekends.com

Indeed on the comment below. But I would be interested in reading it when it comes out! :)

I hope you're making a print copy as well... More power to ezines if you care for them, but there's something about handmade, hand stapled/sewn, cut and paste goodness that I love.

Hello! I'm super new to this whole zine thing, but I'm working on making a zine about psychosis (and possibly other mental health topics), with the pages littered with drawings and doodles of monsters. Why the monsters? Why not? I'm planning on making it an e-zine, and have at least the first issue free. I'm really new to this though, so if you'd be interested in giving me advice, you can contact me at thezefbluhbluh at gmail dot com. Thank you!

LTLE - Letters To the LTLE Editor is a new zine solely comprising letters to the editor. The inspiration for starting it came from my experiences of being mad, & being shut down/not listened to because I didn't communicate "in the right way".

I want it to be legitimate to be senseless, apocryphal, tangential, etc., even if it is difficult or confusing.

So I'm calling for letters. The letters can be about anything - current news, old news, personal rants & loves, responses to past letters, or they can be about no discernible topic. The point is that their incoherence, worthlessness or extreme specificity will present no obstacle to their publication.

Minimum wordcount is 1. Maximum wordcount is ~200. Notional deadline is October 10, 2014.

More info is here: http://ltle.tumblr.com/about
