a place for zinesters - writers and readers
Hello, I'm compiling a bibliography of zines about mental health, and I wondered if anyone had suggestions for me on their favorite zines that I could review.
Thanks Synthia, I think you and I have already exchanged zines! Mine is Sprouted Ink :D I will definitely review your zines for the list!
okay, thank - you steph!, !!
I make a zine about my eating disorder, but touch a bit on my addiction, dysthymic disorder, and anxiety. https://www.etsy.com/shop/ramonegirl

A Moment of Your Time by Laura Ellyn is really good -- https://www.etsy.com/listing/160697012/a-moment-of-your-time-art-zi...
Also quality is Every Day Failures, available from Pioneers Press: http://pioneerspress.com/catalog/zines/4534/
Those are the two that come to mind immediately.
Send me your address and I will send you my zine. Its called "suffering machine" and a lot of mentally ill thoughts are in it. And you could read it in one sitting. firstname.lastname@example.org
in each issue of my zine the stay at home girlfriend i talk about my struggles living with chronic ocd and anxiety. i also often talk about life lessons or inspiration that has helped me get through some dark times.
I have a zine titled, All in Your Head: Queerness, Neurodivergence, and Disability which focuses on LGBTQIA people with disabilities, chronic illnesses, neurodivergent, and/or folks with pervasive mental health issues.
I would love for someone to review my zine. :-) I would be willing to send free copies and a little gift in exchange.
