JUNE 5th from 6-9 at the Silverlake Lounge my friend from the Local 562 (an arts collective out of Whittier) is putting together a free show with free booze! And I'll be tabling in the back, along with the Local 562 and hopefully Nan Lawson and Michael Jonathan! Save the date and come check it out!

Hello Everyone! I've started a Zine Club that meets the third Wednesday of every month at The Urban Craft Center in Santa Monica. Our first meeting in next Wednesday May 19th from 6-8pm. You can check it out here. We are going to have zine swaps, have zines to look at and work on some collaborative projects as well. Hope you can make it!

I would like to invite you to Saturation Fest 2010's DIY Arts & Letters Fest. The event will be held at the Riverside Art Museum, Saturday, May 29, 2010, from 12 noon-4pm. We are inviting self-publishers to table and read from their self-published/small press works. Are you interested? For the month of March there will be a bad ass sale happening at the distro!

For every order for the rest of the month, you have the option of getting one zine that is equal to or lesser than the value of the most expensive zine in your order for FREE! For example, if the most expensive zine in your order is $3, you can choose one extra zine that is $3 or less to be included free of charge! To take advantage of this offer, next time you place an order just type into the “notes” field which zine you’d like for free — don’t add it to your basket! There’s one free zine allowed per order.

Just wanted to spread the word about the awesomeness that is Drippy Bone Books (http://drippybonebooks.com/). It's based out of Denver, Amsterdam and LA, and I met up with the dude that runs the LA side of things yesterday, Keenan. He is super awesome and is organizing lots of great art/zine/music stuff in LA so keep an eye out for the stuff that Drippy Bone has got going on!
