Does anyone know of any zine libraries in the LA area? I have a TON of old zines that I'd like to donate from the ol' distro days. I was going to ship them up to the IRPC in Portland but that seems like such a waste if we have a resource down here that could use them.

Chicken-Head #29 is out. Distro in the sfv, and Headline Records. More LA Distro in the near future.

Chicken-Head #28 is out and about. Several spots in the Valley and two in LA: The bicycle Kitchen and Orange 20 is where you can pick them up.

That too. I've never really gotten into ezines so I tend to forget their existence.

Well, it's easier to do a ezine than the real thing.

maybe. there are other places were zines are still thriving, despite the internet. ;) i think it was just a loss of community.

I blame the internet for that one.

I don't really see a lot of zines out here anymore either. I used to see people selling them at shows and I've been to a couple of zine fests out here but there hasn't been one in years, sadly.

I don't really see any zines out here in LA. Went to a comic and Zine convention years ago (pre internet) and that was it. Been doing Chicken-Head for 7+ years now.
