Comment by Jeremiah Walton on March 3, 2013 at 8:57pm Nostrovia! Poetry is an independent press started by Jeremiah Walton his Junior year of high school in 2011. The mission hurdling this press forwards is to bring poetry to the youth, Jeremiah's generation, who negatively stereotype poetry.
Too Obscene is Nostrovia! Poetry's next publishing adventure. Too Obsceneis a zine seeking poetry and flash fiction deemed "too obscene" by other presses and publishers. This does not mean the more times you say "fuck" in your poem, the more likely it is we'll publish you. No, poetry and flash fiction with literary merit is being sought. This zine was inspired by the trials centering around Allen Ginsberg's poem Howl.
You can read the submission guidelines at Nostrovia! Poetry. Submission entry is free. Come check it out! Cheers!

Shhh... is back for issue 2! This issue is text only, recounting 24 memories recollected in 24 hours. From childhood, adulthood, and years in between. This literary perzine returns in simple accordion format with lots of stories to tell within its pages.
This issue was the result of a challenge by fellow zinester Chris Francz who invited me to write a zine about 24 memories in 24 hours. All the writing was only allowed within that 24-hour period. Only editing and formatting was allowed after that.

Comment by Jessica Gleason on July 5, 2012 at 3:24pm Dear Labrinthians,
We are writing to inform you that Issue #001 is now live on the site. It will remain live until August 5th, 2012. Then, it will remain in our archives, indefinitely. There is a link at the very bottom of this month's issue for you to download the .pdf version of Issue #001.
This also means that the reading period for "the in-between" and Issue #002 is now open. So, send us your work! Issue #002 will not be published until September 5th, but during the month of August we will publish and "feature" one poem every other day. So, by submitting during the reading period, you are consenting to be considered for both "the in-between" and "Issue #002". If you would only like to be considered for one of these things, please specify in your submission.
Thanks!

Comment by Jessica Gleason on June 25, 2012 at 2:45pm Hey Folks,
I am the editor of a new poetry rag. Stop by my page for details and submission guidelines! We look for trash poetry, horror poetry and nerdy poetry (but we're open to other forms as long as they fit with our mission).
Thanks!
Jessica
