We Make Zines

a place for zinesters - writers and readers

Wanna free zine subscription? 8 issues, one every six weeks?

Here's the deal:

THE CONNECTION (formerly The Libertarian Connection), founded 1967 by Nat Hall and Skye D'Aureous, is an APA (Amateur Press Association publication), a "reader-written discussion zine". See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amateur_Press_Association . Erwin S. "Filthy Pierre" Strauss took over soon after it began and has been running it ever since.

It's dying. Nobody's joining. Fewer and fewer are contributing.

It started out with a libertarian focus, but it's expanded recently into just about anything members want to discuss:

Politics, religion, sex, ethics, art, society, the mind's the limit. Yet get 4 free pages to rant in....or to draw in, do collage art in, or any combination thereof, every six weeks.

Hate libertarianism? Tell us.

Love libertarianism? Tell us.

Hate capitalism? Tell us.

Love capitalism? Tell us.

Don't know, don't care? Tell us.

Hate patriarchy? Tell us.

You get the message.

Here's your end of the bargain:

1. You MUST contribute, in good faith, to 5 (FIVE) out of your 8 issues, at least 2 (TWO) of your four pages. That is, you may miss or skip 2 issues. If you want, you can share your submissions with a friend, but YOU must mail them in yourself.

I am buying 3 (THREE) subscriptions for 3 (THREE) people, first come, first serve. Just click on my photo, go to my profile page, and write me an acceptance note.

Hope to see you there.

If you want to order a sample for a dollar to see what you're getting into, here's Dr. Strauss's address:

Erwin S. Strauss
10 Hill St., #22-L
Newark, NJ 07102
