I realised there wasn't a group on WMZ specific to zine trades so I wanted to get something in place so that people can pool together their interest in trading.

Thanks for making this the biggest group on We Make Zines!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone seems to post a new thread in the forum when they want to share their zines but why not just come to one group where you know people are going to be receptive when you want to share with them!

TO GET STARTED, ADD A COMMENT INCLUDING A ONE-LINER ABOUT YOUR ZINE FOR TRADE AND A ONE-LINER ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE AFTER IN THE TRADE (IF YOU'RE FEELING SPECIFIC)....

Check out my etsy

Have you ever hosted a traveller before? Volthair #4 is the stranger in the night that you house in your guest room. Coffee and tequila; a mix of stories about couch surfing adventures to a list of embarrassing moments. I wear my heart in my zine, because I believe human connection is art.

My zines began as an art project; a goal to write about my life and send it to strangers around the world. Over time I realized how writing and reflection enabled me to grow. I've dealt with social anxiety for much of my life and my zines were the first things that allowed me to feel and be heard. My perzines have connected me with so many wonderful people around the world and gave me enough confidence to share with people I know in real life.

Each zine I publish allows me to observe how my personality shifts and changes. After every story I write, there is a decay period of reflection during the time I prepare for the world to view my zines. By the time you read my zine, I will surely be a different person. I may already regret a few things about what I have written before I even print the zine.

Low and below; Lo and behold; Volthair #4 is the first zine that feels most reflective and accurate of my printed cmyk mind. Kathy 4.0: Polished. This zine contains writings from March 2010 - February 2013. 64 pages. Black and White. Signed and dated on the back. 30 versions available.

Don't got cash for trades?

You can Read The MC Press #6 online. The Press is now featuring five writers from New Zealand, USA and Canada in 32 colour pages. This zine tells the story of the lives of a wide variety of countercultural thinkers (plus it has movie, music, book and technology reviews!)

If anyone in the U.S. (or especially Canada) wants a bundle of various MC Press issues shoot me a line. You can also like us on Facebook.

Anyone want to trade flyers (especially UK people, as it'll be cheaper for me to post, but international trades ok too)? message me! :)

I'd love to trade zines with anyone. I just put out the first issue of Conspiratorial, a serialized conspiracy/mystery story set in Washington, D.C. There is also a found-object art component included with the printed versions.

I'd be happy to trade with anyone. Email me at yurirealman@gmail.com

I have two new zines available for trade. Leave me a message if you would like to set something up!

Pieces #8: On Twelve Years of Running
Perzine 1/4 size : 64 pages
Snapshots of the last twelve years in which I avoid therapy and medication for fear of stigma, start intermittent therapy, and finally--twelve years later--begin continual therapy and start medication . This zine is a narrative of the constant battle of wanting help but working hard to appear as normal.

A Visitor in Myself #1
Perzine 1/4 size : 30 pages
A stream of consciousness zine that is reflective of my BPD traits and the gratitude I have for those who have stuck with me over the years.
