Let's Trade Zines!

This is a group designed specifically for trading your zine for someone elses. Post a decription of your zine or contact some people in the group directly!

Latest Activity: on Tuesday

I realised there wasn't a group on WMZ specific to zine trades so I wanted to get something in place so that people can pool together their interest in trading.

Thanks for making this the biggest group on We Make Zines!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone seems to post a new thread in the forum when they want to share their zines but why not just come to one group where you know people are going to be receptive when you want to share with them!

TO GET STARTED, ADD A COMMENT INCLUDING A ONE-LINER ABOUT YOUR ZINE FOR TRADE AND A ONE-LINER ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE AFTER IN THE TRADE (IF YOU'RE FEELING SPECIFIC)....

Sins of Machines #3: Infanticide: Quarter-sized, 32 pages, black-and-white. This issue of my history/poetry zine focuses on infanticide in the Victorian era, with a few pages on puerperal insanity and its cures, and a close focus on my personal holy trinity of baby farm killers: Ada Chard Williams, the Finchley baby farmers, and Amelia Dyer. Also included are three poems inspired by these women, and plenty of quotes taken straight from Victorian newspapers and the court records from each woman's trial.

Pieces #4: on lucid dreaming
is now available.

This issue is a little different from past issues in that it is not a 100% perzine. The first half is mostly information on lucid dreaming and techniques I use, with a few stories on how I'm lucid dreaming to conquer anxiety, what I get out of dreaming, my thoughts on out of body experiences, along with other personal tidbits.

The second half is a dream journal I've been keeping to record and analyze my lucid dreaming experiences in an effort to learn more about myself and two internal archetypes.

This is a 1/4 size, 56 page zine.

Available for trade or $2.

I'm trying to get back into trading more zines again. I still have lots of copies of back issues of RatBrat, especially the last issue, which was #11. RatBrat #12 will also be done in the next few weeks. Anyone up for a trade? You can message me, post on my wall, or email me at ratbratzine@gmail.com.

RatBrat #11:

An ode to the fact that 2009, though it was a crummy year, existed. It talks about my trip to my first zine fest in Philly, art journaling, my philosophies on zines as a way of capturing fleeting glimpses of my life, and more.

RatBrat #12:

Issue #12 documents my experience moving out on my own for the first time, trying to find a place for my boyfriend and I to live, and having to move back in (temporarily) with my parents. It's a zine about independence, losing my pets, trying to make it on my own, relating in a relationship, and new experiences.

Evil Flower #2 is a 20 page 1/2 size perzine with pieces about apathy, chronic pain, a lost friendship, my paper crane wishes and more.

It is sitting on my desk begging to go into envelopes. Contact me here or at inertiaendshere@gmail.com if you are interested. I'm open to every kind of zine.
