Let's Trade Zines!

This is a group designed specifically for trading your zine for someone elses. Post a decription of your zine or contact some people in the group directly!

Members: 610
Latest Activity: Dec 12

I realised there wasn't a group on WMZ specific to zine trades so I wanted to get something in place so that people can pool together their interest in trading.

Thanks for making this the biggest group on We Make Zines!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone seems to post a new thread in the forum when they want to share their zines but why not just come to one group where you know people are going to be receptive when you want to share with them!

TO GET STARTED, ADD A COMMENT INCLUDING A ONE-LINER ABOUT YOUR ZINE FOR TRADE AND A ONE-LINER ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE AFTER IN THE TRADE (IF YOU'RE FEELING SPECIFIC)....

Hello Everyone.

I have a 16 page mini comic available for trade. I have entitled it “Nobody is Perfect.” This mini is an existential piece on the importance of the individual to the make up of the larger society. Its sweet, truthful and tiny.

It was created as a final project for a comic making class in April 2010, Glendale Ca.. Adriana Yugovich (The Nerdegade) was my instructor. I originally made 15 copies to distribute to our small class and a few friends. This month I have decided to return to it and distribute it openly. So far, its been my first and only finished Mini Comic.

If anyone would like to trade, please send your zine/mini comic to the following:

Luna Blue

PO Box 704 Hwy 33

Westley, Ca 95387

As soon as I receive your goods, I will send off mine!

Or it can work the other way around as well.

Thank you

you’ve got a friend in pennsylvania #5 is now finished!

having worked at in a warehouse for the past month and a half, i’ve spent a lot of time within a “boys’ club” environment. daily struggles with hearing racist and sexist bullshit and making attempts to challenge the mindsets of those around me have left me defensive and drained. this zine, done in 24-ish hours for the dc zine fest, is about resisting militant masculinity on the job, learning how to more effectively call out shitty behavior, and how i have created a safer space for myself (and hopefully some others) at work. b&w, 1/4 size, 20 pages. includes original photography by yours truly! $1 or trade. if interested, please send me a message or e-mail youvegotafriendinpa(at)gmail(dot)com

I have a new mini zine for trade:

Always:
-My newest mini zine called 'Always'. Kind of a mix between perzine and fanzine about the Harry Potter series. Quote, How, When?, (badly drawn) fanart, (bad) slash fanfiction and random. 10 pages + cover. Stapled.

See a picture of the mini zine under photos on my profile.

Pieces #6: On Commuting
Perzine 1/4 size : 86 pages

Filled with photos and stories about my first month commuting to Chicago via the South Shore electric line, this zine picks up where Pieces #5 left off in terms of change, and touches on human isolation, connectivity, and transient strangers.

Available for $3 or even trade. Even trades don't have to be zines. They can also be handwritten or typewritten letters, tea, handmade cards or postcards, stationary, buttons & pins, or other random but interesting odds and ends.

Hey, I'm new here. I'm active with 2 zines that I'm looking to trade. The first is We Live In A Van, which is a 20 page zine that tells the story of touring with my band. Card stock, spray painted cover.

The second is Shouting Shorelines, a collective zine that focuses on the Long Island DIY community. 56 pages, paper bag cover, block print.

Interested in all kinds of zines, get in touch if interested!

Hey, Laura, I'm always looking for something different. If you'd like to trade your zine about Lucid Dreams for my Ken Chronicles, let me know.

Hello everyone!I just got done with issue three of my zine, "Impossibles". Do any of you know any ultra-conservative Christian people with kids? This is my story of growing up in that culture, discovering feminism and punk, and growing up. 36 pages of entertainment/ cringing for absolutely free. Send me a comment if you are interested. ^_^

I love perzines and travel zines, by the way, but anything really. The zines are the ones about things you know nothing about...

I am zine rich, cash poor. Who would like to trade with me???

My zine is all about being a string player who is sick of being forced to play classical music, and who wants a more experimental, noisy, punk future!

It has perzine, music zine and how-to/DIY zine elements.
ISSUE FOUR includes:
*an interview with Raincoats violinist, Vicki Aspinall
*a guide to string playing in Krautrock
*the amazing Krautrock Krautmap
*an appreciation of violists*punk versus folk: which four letter word will win? A look at the similarities between the genres
*how to make your playing sound grubby and super-scuzzy

Zines 1, consumerism 0!
