Let's Trade Zines!

This is a group designed specifically for trading your zine for someone elses. Post a decription of your zine or contact some people in the group directly!

Members: 582
Latest Activity: on Sunday

I realised there wasn't a group on WMZ specific to zine trades so I wanted to get something in place so that people can pool together their interest in trading.

Thanks for making this the biggest group on We Make Zines!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone seems to post a new thread in the forum when they want to share their zines but why not just come to one group where you know people are going to be receptive when you want to share with them!

TO GET STARTED, ADD A COMMENT INCLUDING A ONE-LINER ABOUT YOUR ZINE FOR TRADE AND A ONE-LINER ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE AFTER IN THE TRADE (IF YOU'RE FEELING SPECIFIC)....

I am zine rich, cash poor. Who would like to trade with me???

My zine is all about being a string player who is sick of being forced to play classical music, and who wants a more experimental, noisy, punk future!

It has perzine, music zine and how-to/DIY zine elements.
ISSUE FOUR includes:
*an interview with Raincoats violinist, Vicki Aspinall
*a guide to string playing in Krautrock
*the amazing Krautrock Krautmap
*an appreciation of violists*punk versus folk: which four letter word will win? A look at the similarities between the genres
*how to make your playing sound grubby and super-scuzzy

Zines 1, consumerism 0!

my new perzine, reimagining queer community, is finished!

reimagining queer community is a personal investigation into my evolving relationship to queerness, as well as some of the ways in which i navigate queer spaces around me. some of the topics in this zine include: alienation and estrangement from the queer community, what it means to feel connected, the myth of a cohesive queer community, being a spectator versus being a participant, (personal and shared) queer histories, and potential strategies to build new alliances.

this was my first attempt at making a twenty four hour zine (it wound up taking three days due to work/life interruptions, but who’s counting?) it is 20 pages, 1/4 sized and text heavy. i am asking for $1 or a trade. if you are interested, please email uniunverse@gmail.com.

Just found out about this feature; wish I had been more active on We Make Zines so I would have found it sooner. I produce the Ken Chronicles, a perzine featuring mostly non-fiction, real-life experiences, travels, anecdotes, opinion, music reviews (1960s to current), book and zine reviews, etc., although not every issue has everything.  Looking to trade with like-minded zinesters (one to start & no hard feelings if we don't trade again). Mine is digest-size, 20 to 28 pages (depending on how the spirit moves me and how much material I see fit to include), copy-machined with (usually) a full-color centerfold (via ink-jet). I'm not really interested in zines that are heavily dependent on politics or religion, have nothing against gays/lesbians but not into gay zines; okay with sex but can do without excessive violence. I have some back issues available & #20 (August) out soon; $2 each (USA & Canada) but I'd really rather trade. Foreign exchange considered. (Will be away next week so please don't take it personal if I don't respond  right away.)

Hello all...looking to trade with fellow personal zinesters and anyone doing zines that are too bizarre/weird/unclassifiable to fit into a convenient label. I've just posted Penguin F@cker #1 on Etsy for sale and would love to connect with you here or on Etsy. I love cross promotion, so would be happy to swap links, add to my circle there, etc...if you want to trade, please message me for details.

There are some intriguing zins here! Lets trade..

ABSTRACT BY NATURE
A zine to educate and empower people who are constantly conflicted with societal taboos specifically in the culture and traditions of the minority family. Including 411 on the Black punk scene in Los Angeles.

Well, I've got issue 5 up now. You can also nab the first four. I'm quite happy to send multiple issues to make an equivalent exchange.

The third issue of my zine Printaissance is cut, pasted, and ready for consumption! This is a per/lit zine mixing personal anecdotes, original poetry, and some truly personal insights into my writing and the muses that guide my pen to fill the chapters of this new issue. It is titled This is for my Muses and is focused on those literary inspirers of the written word!

Issue 3 (26 half page pages)
