I realised there wasn't a group on WMZ specific to zine trades so I wanted to get something in place so that people can pool together their interest in trading.

Thanks for making this the biggest group on We Make Zines!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone seems to post a new thread in the forum when they want to share their zines but why not just come to one group where you know people are going to be receptive when you want to share with them!

TO GET STARTED, ADD A COMMENT INCLUDING A ONE-LINER ABOUT YOUR ZINE FOR TRADE AND A ONE-LINER ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE AFTER IN THE TRADE (IF YOU'RE FEELING SPECIFIC)....

I've got a zine for trade that I compiled a year or two ago titled "I send my love".

It's got some poetry (diane de prima and pablo neruda), some tips on consensus decision making and giving constructive feedback, some work that partners can do together, and lots of other odds, ends, and radical quotes throughout. My attempt was to implicitly suggest that folks should take their activist ideals and translate them to all other parts of their lives and how they relate to their friends, comrades and lovers. However, many folks have called it disjointed so perhaps I should have spelled it out for people... Whatever, I'm not into spoonfeeding my audience.

I also have the spring 2002 edit/update of my old zine "Don't Back Down" for trade. The PDF of the old copy is here: http://zinelibrary.info/dont-back-down

As with all my stuff, please copy and distribute!

I am always looking for how-to manuals, anti-oppressive materials, activist/anarchist/feminist zines and whatnot.

I'm not interested in zines about women's reproductive health, your love for riotgrrrl, or neo-primitivism/insurrectionarism... those topics have been played out, no? I'm not interested in perzines or comics either. Don't mean for this to be super negative or rude, I'm just looking for what I'm looking for, youknow?

Love, support, and solidarity!

I am going to the copy shop soon after writing this post to make copies of Candy Box, my new zine in which I rate twelve varieties of candy (mostly chocolate) that my friend Carolyn sent from the UK. I am planning on pink covers, which is exciting to me. I will post photos soon.

This zine will be of most interest to folks who love candy and/or those who live in the UK or will visit there. I would REALLY like to trade for it.

This one's really just for fun! It will get you back in touch with the silly candy eating kid you once were, or let you pretend to be that kid now if you never were.

If you want the zine, send a trade (with a note telling me which one of my zines you want) to

A Poem a Day READY, and I would love to trade for it!

This zine that is ready is the culmination of my writing for the A Poem a Day exercise. It's not the big compilation zine containing work by many poets. This one is just me. It has over twenty new poems, all by me. It's 22 pages, 8 and 1/2 by 5 and 1/2.

I think it's great! I hope other people will think so too.

To trade for it, write to me at
