I realised there wasn't a group on WMZ specific to zine trades so I wanted to get something in place so that people can pool together their interest in trading.

Everyone seems to post a new thread in the forum when they want to share their zines but why not just come to one group where you know people are going to be receptive when you want to share with them!

This zine that is ready is the culmination of my writing for the A Poem a Day exercise. It's not the big compilation zine containing work by many poets. This one is just me. It has over twenty new poems, all by me. It's 22 pages, 8 and 1/2 by 5 and 1/2.

I think it's great! I hope other people will think so too.

I write a couple of zines: Cranky Buddha (mostly short vignettes of absurd and obscure history coupled with reviews of odd books) and Manuscripts Don't Burn (ridiculous true stories lacking rhyme and reason, many of which take place on public buses). I'd be pleased as punch to trade for just about anything, but I'm really on the lookout for something funny, festive and informative.

Its 28 pgs of doodle-type strange art, either submitted to me, or taken from various journals or sketchbooks of mine. Its half-sized and has a cool stenciled cover {see my pix}. So yep. I suppose if i were to sell copies they would be like a dollar or two, but id rather just take a cool zine or something since i spend all of my money on zines anyway.

I have a small "culture" zine with interviews, reviews (of zines, artists websites and music), art, craft instructions, etc. That one is called "The HSSreader". I also have minizines of my sketches called "college doodles". I'd be happy to trade either. I am not looking for anything specific, I enjoy all sorts of zines. Thanks!
