I realised there wasn't a group on WMZ specific to zine trades so I wanted to get something in place so that people can pool together their interest in trading.

Thanks for making this the biggest group on We Make Zines!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone seems to post a new thread in the forum when they want to share their zines but why not just come to one group where you know people are going to be receptive when you want to share with them!

The first issue of Hazel Harper is finished and ready for trade. It's an 18 page, b&w, half size perzine with pictures, some of my drawing (doodling), and writing. This one is sorta the "getting to know me" issue. e-mail me at theunrememberedone@yahoo.com if you're interested in trading.

Telegram Ma'am is a quarter-sized perzine all about mental health, loneliness, nostalgia, adventures, bicycles, small towns, and finding a home.

I am mostly interested in trading for perzines, especially those of the mental health, feminist, and queer variety.

Hey folks! I've been a busy zinester over the last year, and I've been a slacker to post them up on the net. Behind the cut are pictures for the zines. Here's what they are and their descriptions:

10 Dirty Little Secrets - This was my 24 hour zine for 2007. Inside are 10 of my own personal dirty secrets. It's fairly image heavy and a quick read, but I've gotten really good feedback on it. It's a 24 page quarter size!

Pandora's Box #18 - This is the latest issue of my perzine. Inside I look at the realization that I'm not happy with who I am right now in life, little things that rebirth me, and 100 things I believe. It's a 16 page half size.

26 Things - This was my first art zine. It's in full colour. I challenged myself to the 26 Things photo challenge and took my images and made them into a zine. I only have 3 copies left of this 28 page quarter size zine.

Hello, That's Not a Bump - This zine takes a look at the fat perspective. What is it to love your body? Why can't you? And who says skinny is it? It's a mini zine (one sheet of paper folded into 8 pages).

Mixtape - a mini zine - This takes a look at the mixtape culture that still survives these days. What is the art of mix, who still makes cassette mixes, and why? .

Little White Pill - This one takes a look at my recent battle with depression. I tell my story about resisting going on anti-depressants, and the outcome of that. I also offer suggestions on fighting depression drug free, and give some alternatives if you're a cutter. This one is a 28 page half size.

28 Things To Do With Hair Gel (my first zine) is available for trade. It's a 32 page quarter-size, supposed to be funny black & white.

If interested you can contact me at theunrememberedone@yahoo.com

The second issue of Carrots and Condoms is finished. This issue is about dealing with abuse and mental illness in my family while trying to find sanity in an insane world. Hand illustrated pen-and-ink/watercolor drawings with color cover.

Have a really fancy zine or small book you want to trade? Interested in elaborate paeans to footwear? I'm looking to move some copies of my 16-page quarter-size zine SHOE, but it's a little more involved than your typical offering: color illustrations, metallic cover, handsewn binding, etc. I'd like, therefore, to get something with a similar amount of time and care put into it in return. I'm not picky about the subject -- I'll read (an enjoy) pretty much anything.

Issue #9 of my perzine FEELS LIKE FRIDAY is finiiiiished and there are lots of copies that should be sent around the world before they get sad sitting in a box.

This issue, like most others, is filled with random thoughts that have crossed my mind in recent times. Unlike previous zines, it is not very text-heavy but the pages look pretty sweet, I must say; I spent a long time cutting & pasting. The focal point of this issue is the writing I did when I took acid for the first time. The rest is about boys, a little on national identity, writing, changing, etc.

I'd love to trade, especially for other perzines!
