a place for zinesters - writers and readers

Let's Trade Zines!

This is a group designed specifically for trading your zine for someone elses. Post a decription of your zine or contact some people in the group directly!

I realised there wasn't a group on WMZ specific to zine trades so I wanted to get something in place so that people can pool together their interest in trading.

Thanks for making this the biggest group on We Make Zines!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone seems to post a new thread in the forum when they want to share their zines but why not just come to one group where you know people are going to be receptive when you want to share with them!

I just finished my new zine about my summer road trip out west. If you would like to trade I'd be more than happy to. Lots of words with this, and not much visual. Send me your address and I'll send one out to you ASAP.

Hey pals . . . sorry for the plain post. I guess i make 'zines you can hold because i don't know how to use a computer. My zine is called Wiseblood. It started in 1984 and was a punk rock 'zine. Now it's full of misfit lit. I'm up to #57! I love trading! I love reading other people's zines no matter what the content.

my address: Wiseblood, 1304 175th Pl. NE, Bellevue, WA, 98008.

I also like getting e-mails! fuzzybunnyflatbunny@gmail.com.

Thanks you all! you are awesome!

"The Itinerant Postcard" is available for trade. It's a 24-page quarter-sized perzine with prose, poetry, and illustrations by Edward Gorey.

Piltdownlad #5 - "The Detour Guide"

Piltdownlad is a personal narrative zine. Each issue is centered around an autobiographical story. In this issue it's "The Detour Guide," which continues the story from issue #2, "Women Got Me Drinking." So there are more French Quarter shenanigans and failed attempts at romance, illustrated by the wonderful artist Nick Knudson. An excursus to the story is a short confession about my time in foster care. Also in this issue is a travelogue about a road trip to New Orleans, a piece called "Gettin' Lost Downtown," which details my attempt to start a t-shirt business with a street person in Downtown LA, zine reviews and a "Letters and Comments" section that focuses on previous issues of Piltdownlad and the papernet.

Do it:
