Comment by Rob Bowen on September 6, 2011 at 7:22pm I have a new issue of Printaissance available for trade! Issue #4 The Fall of the American Empire!
This fourth issue is a socio-political lit zine which uses historical accounts, modern day headlines, poetry, angry hippie insights and more to compile this ranty look at the parallels in the fall of Rome and the looming fall of the 'American' Empire. It is titled The Fall of the American Empire as a foreshadowing, and foreboding, hint at this possible future that it seems the United States is barreling towards. This issue is certainly an opinionated romp through the darker side of our country and is not for the faint of heart.
Issue 4 (41 half page pages / available for trade)
Check out my profile to hit me up and get a trade rolling out! :)

Comment by Preston Pulliam on August 23, 2011 at 11:59am Hello Everyone.
I have a 16 page mini comic available for trade. I have entitled it “Nobody is Perfect.” This mini is an existential piece on the importance of the individual to the make up of the larger society. Its sweet, truthful and tiny.
It was created as a final project for a comic making class in April 2010, Glendale Ca.. Adriana Yugovich (The Nerdegade) was my instructor. I originally made 15 copies to distribute to our small class and a few friends. This month I have decided to return to it and distribute it openly. So far, its been my first and only finished Mini Comic.
If anyone would like to trade, please send your zine/mini comic to the following:
Luna Blue
PO Box 704 Hwy 33
Westley, Ca 95387
As soon as I receive your goods, I will send off mine!
Or it can work the other way around as well.
Thank you

you’ve got a friend in pennsylvania #5 is now finished!
having worked at in a warehouse for the past month and a half, i’ve spent a lot of time within a “boys’ club” environment. daily struggles with hearing racist and sexist bullshit and making attempts to challenge the mindsets of those around me have left me defensive and drained. this zine, done in 24-ish hours for the dc zine fest, is about resisting militant masculinity on the job, learning how to more effectively call out shitty behavior, and how i have created a safer space for myself (and hopefully some others) at work. b&w, 1/4 size, 20 pages. includes original photography by yours truly! $1 or trade. if interested, please send me a message or e-mail youvegotafriendinpa(at)gmail(dot)com

Comment by Nichole on August 3, 2011 at 11:02am Pieces #6: On Commuting
Perzine 1/4 size : 86 pages
Filled with photos and stories about my first month commuting to Chicago via the South Shore electric line, this zine picks up where Pieces #5 left off in terms of change, and touches on human isolation, connectivity, and transient strangers.
Available for $3 or even trade. Even trades don't have to be zines. They can also be handwritten or typewritten letters, tea, handmade cards or postcards, stationary, buttons & pins, or other random but interesting odds and ends.
