Kids' Zine Trade

Are you a parent or teacher of elementary aged zinesters? I'm both! And I'm looking to try and set up some trades so my students can see other zines made by kids their age in other cites, states, even continents!

One day every year I teach a zine class to my middle schoolers and we create a zine. I'm also hoping to subtly convert my after school writing class into an after school zine class. I would love to trade with other teachers! My kids would be so excited to know their zines ended up in another classroom library.

Hello! Mamma of 4 here. New to the group, not new to the zine scene. ROLL CALL!! Anyone still here?

Thinking of organizing a child-safe zine trade event via postal mail. E-mail me if you think your children would be interested.

I have a 12 year old girl. She's made a couple creative zines.

Hey ya!

So I'm here because I have a 10yrs old (youngest of 4boys well 8boys counting his dad's side too."Yours, Mine and Ours" sort of thing....lol). He was born with Lyme Disease, so we do a combo of charter school and home schooling. He is a very creative youngster, loves art,music...well just anything creative. On his bed-days (never a bad day when you're alive :-) ) he does collaging, drawing and recently he has discovered Zines. Now he has caught the Z-bug (he named it...lol). He is really is into Zombie anything, and wants to write kid friendly zombie books(do to his frustration of only being able to find one), but is going to start out with zines. I feel showing him about trading his work will keep him motivated and help him learn about deadlines and such. Thank you for this opportunity.

This is a great idea! I'm a mother of two boys, & 6 & 1/2, the eldest of which has already made several little zines. If anyone would like to trade drop me a line!

Hello.  My daughter and are both zinesters and would love to trade (she is 11).  I also work at the public library and am trying to start a community "tween" zine going.

Awesome group! I normally have a great selection of zines made by kids at my distro, Sweet Candy ( http://sweetcandydistro.weebly.com/diy-kid-friendly--parenting-zine... ) but I am currently running low.

I am a mom of zine kids so if you ever plan a zine trade, please let me know! My daughters are 7 (almost 8) and 11 and they love to trade mail/zines :)
