I have finished the new issue of Not Lonely!

A6 (1/4 size), 28 pages.

Issue 2 is mostly about saying no to things most people say yes to. There are articles on the drinking scene and why I don't go to pubs/clubs and the personal and political reasons why my partner and I decided not to get married; as well a discussion of the ways I manage my mental health without medication and a nerdy article on my method of "getting into" new albums.

Please see my profile for details of how to get a copy.

NEW DISTRO: currently accepting zines for consideration!

we're into a bit of everything right now: activism, art/design/illustration, comics, the dark & the bizarre, eco-friendly guides, feminism & gender issues, kid-friendly zines (yeah, why not?), how-to guides, literary/fiction, mental health, vegan, and perzines about these topics too. but you can check the full topics list here.

Or check my blog post for all the info!
thanks :)

hey y'all, i'm tossing around the idea of compiling a zine about girl fights and girl hate; whether is be stories about things you have done or things that have been done to you, general musings on the topic, how infighting between girls can be stopped or how girls can come together and appreciate one another, i'd love for you to be a part of this project!

please e-mail me or leave me a comment if you are interested or have questions! deadline is APRIL 30, 2010!

i'm the co-editor-in-chief of an indie feminist mag called mcclung's based out of ryerson university in toronto

i think this group is a wicked idea

i've visited the toronto zine library a few times and reading their collection of riot grrrl zines from back in the day was super inspiring i'm glad there are still feminist zines circulating!

if you're interested in the mag check out our newest issue (i would love feedback): http://issuu.com/mcclungs/docs/winter2010
