i have two zines that will be finished in the next week or so:

hoax. (a feminist-based compilation zine) issue #2 is about relationships: redux. essays include: what could be called "feminist friendships", the loss of a pet, feminism between a mother & daughter, illegal immigration from mexico to the us, conversation between a perpetrator & survivor (trigger warning), love/hate for one's home state, forgiving an abusive parent, a physical altercation, use of feminism as a working woman, a letter to an ex, a letter to a father, a queer reponse to straight friends, and rectifying being a queer female while dating cismen. 1/2 size, 52 pages. asking $3 or trade. [hoaxzine@gmail.com]

you've got a friend in pennsylvania (a perzine) issue #2 features part 2 of my diary entries from a trip to slovenia & croatia, a playlist, an entry on my name, an essay on illegal immigration, being queer to straight friends, a conversation with my perpetrator (potentially triggering), story about a racist friend, an essay about my rat, DIY tips for winter & making a sweet treat, zine/book/music recommendations and a story or two. 1/2 size, 36 pages. asking $2 or trade. i'm the co-editor-in-chief of an indie feminist mag called mcclung's based out of ryerson university in toronto

i think this group is a wicked idea

i've visited the toronto zine library a few times and reading their collection of riot grrrl zines from back in the day was super inspiring i'm glad there are still feminist zines circulating!

if you're interested in the mag check out our newest issue (i would love feedback): http://issuu.com/mcclungs/docs/winter2010

Hi! Finished my first zine and will be distributing at the end of January. This zine was compiled for a course titled Images of Women. It has responses to course material as well as photography, journals, collages and general nonsense. As it is my first one, I am looking for feedback and helpful criticism. Please let me know if you are interested. Cost is whatever it would take for shipping, a couple of dollars or trade.
