Comment by Mel W. on April 18, 2012 at 8:05pm I'm from NJ and I write Cadillac Girl, a perzine that I started in 2004. After being on a 6 year break, I'm starting it back up again. Issue three is in process. Feel free to contribute, request a copy of past issues, or trade. Issue three is going to be about how things have changed since the last time I published CG; graduating college, becoming a mother and a wife, and finding myself again. Also, check out the web page http://cadillacgirlzine.webs.com Thanx!
First issue of my perzine, & Octopus is out!
16 black and white pages handwritten and illustrated. Topics include kitchen electronics, hair days, clothing habits, mock zodiac forecasts, a simple recipe, and more!
Contact me for a copy at $2.45 each (postage included) or get one through my Etsy shop: http://windowfog.etsy.com
More views available on my WMZ album or on Etsy.
BLACK HOLE BRAINS #5 is out!! The "Bare-Ass Birthday" issue! Up for trade or buy a copy on Etsy!

Comment by Rachel Scheer on March 18, 2012 at 5:30pm Hello! I am making autobio comics and posting them at rachelcomics.com. Also making them into mini comics. I'm trying to sell these for cheap around DC/Baltimore... anyone know of places accepting mini comics on consignment? Thanks!!
Comment by Aijung Kim on March 18, 2012 at 8:33am I will be tabling at two upcoming Zine Fests for those of you in the New York State area:
6th Annual Buffalo Small Press Book Fair
Saturday, March 24th
12 - 6 pm
453 Porter Avenue, in Buffalo, NY
at the beautiful Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum
Lots of poetry, independent publishing, zines, chapbooks, magazines, and all manner of lovely book-related paraphernalia. I have tabled at this event twice and it is really fun!
Sunday April 15, 2012 from 11am to 6pm
at Public Assembly (70 North 6th St.) in Williamsburg [Google Map]. Take the L to Bedford Ave., the G to Metropolitan Ave., or the J, M, Z to Marcy Ave.
My friend Matt and Kseniya, makers of the zine "I Love Bad Movies" are co-organizing it, and they are doing a fantastic job. Check out their blogto read interviews with all the zine-makers. It looks like a well-curated, eclectic line-up and I can't wait to be a part of it!
