I oppose the motion. I am disabled, not a person with a disability. I subscribe to the social model of disability not the medical model. I'd be up for adding allies to the group, but not changing to 'with disabilities'.

I think this group should be renamed "Zinesters With Disabilities & Allies".

Basically, the three zines are:
Rebel Grrl Zine: The Survive Issue
This is a feminist zine aimed at survivors of sexual abuse and sexual violence. It is mainly aimed at women and girls, and is a 24 page A5 size zine, photocopied.

How to Write a Zine or THE ART OF PROCRASTINATION
This is ostensibly about the process of creating a zine, but is really all about procrastination - its joys and frustrations, and contains various procrastination tools and ideas within :)
This was written for the 24 hour zine project. It is a 24 page A6 zine, photocopied.

50:50 Zine #1
Double sided A4 page, 50 things I love on one side, 50 things I hate on the other. Simple as!

Hi.. I've been in hospital until recently so have missed seeing this group grow.. Although i haven't written a zine yet about my disability- Asperger's Syndrome (altho i plan to in the future) I started this group so I could meet others who have disabilities and maybe see how you approach the challenges of both creating zines and approach creating zines about the challenges (and positives). Does that make any sense?

Hey! I used to run Driving Blind Distro and wrote Driving Blind zine, which discussed my disability (Muscular Dystrophy) among other things. Yay.

Holla. I'm hard of hearing and wear hearing aids. I wasn't going to join but then I saw the little doll with hearing aids and figured I might as well! I have covered my hearing loss in an old zine of mine that I don't put out anymore, but I'll probably have another one out soon with some focus on the hearing loss aspect of life.
