Comment by ramsey everydaypants on June 7, 2012 at 5:57pm But I wrote my first book and you can pre-order it. There's also a reward in the kickstarter for a 5 book pre-order at a wholesale rate if any distros would be interested in carrying it. It's a comic book to be exact - stemming from my zines, List and Everydaypants.

"Year One is about being in a new place, trying to convince yourself to be outgoing, reassuring yourself that going to bed at 9pm on a Friday night will not kill your social life, new adventures with new friends, being confident, exploring new relationships, keeping in touch with old friends, the highs of summer and the lows of winter, embracing community, tiptoeing toward new love, holding on to an old one, family, and friends that are like family, open relationships, punk community, companionship, loss and grief, appreciating home while searching for new variations of that word, and generally being a twenty-something year old trying to figure things out."
I drew 2-3 pages of comics for every week that went by for my first year in Philadelphia. Features weeks including the Chicago Zine Fest, DC Zine Fest, and Philly Zine Fest! Maybe you'll spot yourself. Lots of zine friends and punk friends are in it, as well as several trips to Chicago.
Also, if this shouldn't be a post, let me know and I can delete it!

Comment by Olivia Arrow on January 21, 2012 at 7:13am Hi everybody! I have to update - I gave all of the zines to new homes. You can possibly find some at http://readwritelibrary.org/ or request a zine trade with me for my own zines, but the pile I was donating is all gone now.

Comment by Carrie C. on January 4, 2012 at 10:13am Olivia,
I'd love to take some zines off your hands. I do zine workshops with high school students and I teach a twice weekly zine class to middle school kids so I always need zines.
Lemme know!
Thanks,
Carrie
