Chicago Zinester Picnic! This week!

Hey!

This idea came up at the post-fest meeting for the Chicago Zine Fest, let's have a Chicago Zinester Picnic this Saturday (the 14th)! Bring a dish to share (along with an ingredient list, so those of us with dietary restrictions can know whether we can enjoy your food), and zines to trade. You might also want to bring a blanket, or any items that make picnics fun, like frisbees or balls or hoola-hoops?

who's going to this. I heard about it last weekend and will forget if it doesn't look like people are going.
also, saturday the forecast looks like rain. sorry.

Maybe we could make the rain location be my apartment, I'll have to check with my roommates. I'll be there, and then I'm going to Roller Derby! Woo hoo! What are people bringing? I might make vegan potato salad, or pasta salad.

So, "they" are forecasting thunderstorms later, and we didn't realize the air and slaughter show is happening this weekend, so even if it's nice, we'll feel like we're gonna be bombed at any second. So we're going to postpone the picnic. Maybe in two weeks (the 28th) I'll confirm it as soon as I know.
