Hi all!

Looking for submissions for my next zine. Deadline is May 10th (soon, I know, but I'm taking work you already have) Here are the deets and check out whistlezine.tumblr.com for more info:

No theme = send me whatever awesomeness you’ve been keeping to yourself. Seriously, let’s see it.
This issue will have a cut-out outer cover with a cardstock and newsprint interior booklet. (Mock up is the background of the image ^ )
If you fancy knowing the size, it’s 5.5 by 8.5 inches.
(It will be printed in color. Note that it will be on newsprint, not white paper.)
So, help me fill it with great illustrations, photos, poems, short stories, songs, collages, paintings, doodles and anything else that’s fit to print. 
Deadline is May 10th. (send to whistlezine@gmail.com)
I’m flexible if you want to send something closer to, say, May 18th. Just let me know before the 10th so I can save you a space!
Remember that visual submissions must be 300 dpi or larger.
Please include the name you would like published + a website and/or email address.

PS. I’m hoping to get volume 2 in a few small boutiques, book stores, art stores, etc.
I plan to start asking around the Nashville area after issue 1 is finished. Hit me up if you have any recommendations for places that might want to carry Whistle.

Hello We Make Ziners! We are looking for submissions to a zine entitled 'Disconnected'

It is predominantly a poetry, illustration and art zine. A collaboration of creatives.  Submissions need to be A5 portrait, or A4 landscape and all submissions will be used and credited. (Both B+W and colour!)

'Disconnected' can be interpreted how ever you wish. The changing paces of the technological world? reliance on plug sockets? being lost in nature or just a good old fashioned day dream!
