This is a call for submissions to a first time zine's first issue.

InTheFlesh  is a feminist zine hoping to explore both the experiences and constraints of flesh. The first issue will address the concept of flesh by examining ideas, emotions, experiences, of Skin (ex: sexual pleasure, race, consent...).

Submissions may be textual (fiction, essays, poetry, anything!) or a visual art piece (though, please remember it will be reproduced in black and white).

Questions, submissions, or ideas may be submitted to Maizy at:

Please include the title of your piece and your preferred name in the subject of your email. (title, name)

I'm accepting submissions for the first issue of a new VEGAN FEMINIST zine

Submissions can be either texts or visuals and must concern feminism, veganism, and/or issues related to speciesism and sexism (and how they intersect).

Hey dudes!

I'm working on a zine called Clockpuncher, which is all about finding ways to prioritize creative pursuits when you work an imagination-sucking 9-to-5 job. I'm looking for any submissions that fit the general theme.

Examples of content that would be appropriate:

- Practical tips and tricks for squeezing creative endeavours into your day

- Personal stories and narratives (in any format.. essays, comics, poems, etc.)

- ART. Send me your art.

- Honestly, the zine is about creativity, so I'm not going to stifle yours. Send me whatever floats your boat.

I will send a copy to everyone who contributes. Please submit to adrienne.weatherston@gmail.com by March 22!

last day - trying to get more people involved!

Hi - I am working on a taphophile/grave/cemetery/death culture zine. I am looking for contributors to answer this question (30 -100 words please)

What is your grief ritual?

I am looking for day to day stories that have helped us get by, helped us honor our missing loved ones, how we keep memories alive.

Each contributor gets a copy! I need submissions to me no later than Feb. 10 2015. Email me at missmuffcake[a]aol.com

Hi guys. I'm currently in the midst of putting together a zine called 'The Doomsday Book'. It focuses on the cult movie Times Square (1980) and it's main star Robin Johnson. It'll be a one-off effort, A5, and B&W. My main goal is to have this ready to go at least a month before Robin's next birthday (May 30th) as I will be sending a copy to her via a relative of hers.

I'm basically looking to include other people's personal experiences in regards to the movie, the impact it's had on your life etc. Poems and artwork are also welcome. I don't want to push the deadline back any further than the end of April, so please contact me ASAP if you have any interest in this project. Also, feel free to ask me any questions.

I'll include the movie in a youtube link for those of you who have no idea what I'm referring to (and I'm sure there's plenty of you).

Times Square (1980) [full movie]

Many thanks, Sarah. xoxo (timessquarezine@yahoo.co.uk)
