I'm doing a time-travel issue and would LOVE your submissions! Here's the call for submissions on my Facebook page: (www.facebook.com/kzine4)

Okay, it's time to get submissions for another issue. The next one for which I already have a couple of submissions is The Time-Travel Issue. Let's see what you have!

It can be anything having to do with time. Going back in time, wishing away your time, actual time-travel, whatever!

Email your submissions to kzine4@gmail.com.

Hey Everyone! I am accepting sumissions for a zine about zines!

What makes YOU excited about zine culture/zines?

What do you want to see in other zines when you open up one?

What excites you when you're creating your own zine?

When did you first learn what a zine was?

Who do you idolize in zine culture?

Why are zines important?

There are so many awesome things about zines! I would love to be able to compile written/visual material into a loving tribute zine to zines!

This zine will be put together for a show/zine fest next February in Fort Collins, CO. Submissions will be accepted until January 2016.

Please email mrosed_7@msn.com or drop me a line here if you're interested in making a submission.

Thank you!

Just 1 more month to submit to the first ever issue of fēlan. Send in your poetry and visual art submissions, with the theme of love, to felanzine@outlook.com by August 28th. Go here for more details: https://felanzine.wordpress.com/submit/.

fēlan means ‘feel’ in old English, and that’s exactly what this new zine is here for – to make you feel.

Just over 24 hours to go! ZICS is planned for August 22-23, and we need to raise the funds to put it on!

So what’s happening this year? Well, we can now announce a panel with “Megahex” creator Simon Hansellman will be in conversation with cult Indie Comic/Zine makers, HTML Flowers and Nicky Minus!

We’ve got Dr Sketchy’s hosting a life-drawing event on the Saturday night! A live show from members of Saturday afternoon’s music panel including HTML Flowers, Gonzovillain, Jess Locke, Nana Vigilante and Bad Bangers!

We’ll be running workshops, including a chance to operate a Risograph! All this plus Poetry slams, conversation panels, and the hall where the best in brightest of comics and zine scenes will be displaying their swag!

Help us make this amazing event happen! Go to http://www.pozible.com/project/197200, even $5 will be appreciated!"

Want your zine featured at an art show in Fort Collins, CO????

Hey everyone!

I am accepting submissions for a show in February 2016. So there's plenty of time! It's going to be called: Zine-vasion: A Self Published Mini Magazine Movement. This will be at a gallery here in Fort Collins called the Art Lab. Google it- it's a neat place! Great way to gain exposure!

I will be featuring my own zine as well as artwork, but if it's a zine-vasion there's going to need to be at least a few more zines on display!

Would love to display a few copies of your zines or whatever else you are willing to share/send this way! Live in Colorado? Even better! Email me your thoughts!!!

Thank you!

Marjorie (Mj) Rose

Will continue to post for submissions as a reminder a few months before February.

Creative Anxiety – A Zine

Anxiety and Creativity – best of friends, worst of enemies.

I am a writer. I suffer from anxiety.

At times, it feels as though these two things go hand in hand. I feel anxious, I can’t sleep, I need to get creative. Writing and producing art work are among the only things that can calm me down.

At other times, my anxiety causes me to have severe doubts about my creativity, writing and artistic talent, meaning that I find it hard to work.

Creative Anxiety is an Ezine with an aim to share work either about anxiety, creations inspired by anxiety, or even work that you would like to share in spite of your anxiety!

Do you suffer from anxiety? Are you a writer, poet, artist, musician, film maker? I would love to hear from you regarding any of the following:

  • Creative ways to overcome anxiety

  • Ways in which your anxiety has affected your creativity

  • Creations inspired by your anxiety

  • Helpful tips for overcoming anxiety/panic attacks

  • Anything that you might think is relevant considering the theme of the Zine!

I will consider all forms of creativity, just get in touch at:

Follow us on Twitter: @CreativeAZine

If you would like to be anonymous please say so in your email. Please title your email ‘Creative Anxiety’. I am happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the zine.

I aim to respond within 42 hours.

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: "If you'd like to hear it // I can sing it for you" is a zine on aging. We are now accepting submissions for issue #002. We are accepting writings, photos, artwork centered around the theme “The things we’ve created.” All submissions should be formatted for b&w printing.

Please include: contact information you would like included in the zine, websites where interested readers can see more of your work, and an “about me” page with some fun info about you~

Our theme for this issue centers around social fabrications: the things we’ve created to help us hide from the things we haven’t - ie: colorblind notions of frailty, long-term care facilities, modern burial practices, Medicare coverage, culturally-specific understandings of an aging-body, etc. We are particularly interested in experiences of aging *outside* of fabricated normative structures- including senior homelessness, sexuality in older age, poverty, and addiction in older age.

Deadline is JULY 25, 2015. Can’t wait to see and include your work.

Hoax is a US bi-annual queer feminist compilation zine that aims to create a space to analyze the feminisms of our everyday lives. People of all lived experiences are encouraged to submit! Contributors do not have to identify with a particular gender and/or as feminists in order to submit work to Hoax. Please check out our full call for submissions at our blog, our mission statement + shared goals, and our Facebook event! Working deadline is July 30th, 2015!

Hello all,

I've been asking for a lot of submissions lately, and have been impressed with the poetry I've received. Thanks all!

I'm working on a couple zines right now, one of which is the second volume to my first ever zine called CRUST. This issue will be a special edition focusing on women playing music & participating in the scene

For one of my articles, I want to talk about band & tour t-shirts. To participate:

-Send a photo (preferably high-quality, straight on shot with a simple background) of you in your favorite band t-shirt

-Answer all or some following questions (not required but appreciated for the article portion):

+Where/When did you obtain this shirt?

+What does this specific shirt/band mean to you?

+What was the first band t-shirt you owned & where did you get it?

+Any other input/stories you would like to write about your t-shirt

Send all submissions to shanzjay@gmail.com

Submissions are asked to be sent in by WED, JULY 15th. Let me know if you have any questions!

W A T E R

the implicit and explicit role of water and race is palpable in america, historically and currently (middle passage | immigration-->post-katrina | privatization of water). Through image, collage, poetry, and text, W A T E R  is a zine defined by race and explored through water.

this is a full color zine, and the page size is 9" x 9".

I am looking for photography, poetry, short writings/prose (under 1000 words), lyrics, digital art, collage, and any other scannable medium for inclusion in the zine. (please use .jpg extensions for all images)

please send all submissions, questions, or comments to waterzinesubmissions@gmail.com

i will respond within 24 hours to all emails.

NOTE: this zine will be initially distributed online and will be printed after.

thank you all! peace and blessings.
