The Last Bookstore, 453 S. Spring St., Downtown Los Angeles
Hey fellow zinesters! Los Angeles is full of creative and crafty types of all disciplines, and we feel it's about time to show off our zines, comics and self-published awesomness. Join us February 19th from 11 AM - 5 PM on the second floor of The Last Bookstore at 453 S. Spring St., in downtown Los Angeles for L.A. Zine Fest 2012!!!
Not only will there be tons of amazing zines to check out and purchase, but DIY workshops, guest panels, and local bands will round out the fest on the first floor of the store. Best of all, it's FREE to attend, and super cheap to be a vendor!
Not local to Southern California? It's the perfect excuse to finally visit L.A.! There will be events throughout the city on Friday and Saturday of the same weekend.
Find out more about becoming a vendor here!:http://lazinefest.wordpress.com/how-to-apply/
Like us on facebook too!: https://www.facebook.com/pages/LA-Zine-Fest/126092794135808?sk=wall
There will be a number of pre-Zine Fest workshops, events and fundraisers happening all over Los Angeles, so keep checking the Facebook page, Twitter and blog!
Got an idea for an awesome zine-related event? Wanna be a sponsor or donate something to a fundraiser raffle? Just feel like learning more or helping out? Please contact us at LAZINEFEST@GMAIL.COM -- we'd love to hear from you!

Comment by Chimdi on September 13, 2011 at 8:20pm Hi!! I don't really know where to start...I like to collage and make zines for fun, but I don't really know how to trade them or anything... they haven't been featured in art galleries or anything either...that's about it.
This site is great. It's an amazing place to find creative, unique images that evoke feelings and inspire future zines.
Well...it's nice to be part of this group! :)

Comment by swanloop on August 11, 2011 at 9:04pm Hi,
I'm new here! I'm from upland, ca (inland empire), but I just wanted to recommend the Anno Domini gallery in San Jose. They lean towards street art, but have an "art of zine" show still currently running until August 13th! Cool collection of zines, definitely inspiring :-) They have a zine library you can contribute to, and they hope to start selling zines as well!
