West Hill would be a good one, it's pretty cheap (anywhere from £10 an hour to a pretty cheap flat rate). I live right behind it so could find out. Other good thing is they have a PA so you could have a zine fair in the day and then bands playing in the evening? Other thing is The Quaker building (great as it is) may put some people off due to religous connotations.

Or also the West Hill Hall might be cheaper

it's on Ship street, a big old building on the corner set back in a garden. I was passing on saturday and they had an "affordable art fair" in the room which is why I went it. The Cowley Club seems to only be open at the exact times I work.

I don't know of any zine fairs personally, I've only been here about 6 weeks though. (From Kent originally tho)

I was at an art fair today in the Quaker place in the Lanes, wouldn't it be a great venue for a zine fair?

Once upon a time, long long ago I was a Brighton zinester, and it was fun, tiring and expensive!

Like monsieur Culture I am a visitor rather than resident of the land of Brighton

Do you keep it in a jar? Is it on exhibit somewhere?

Well I don't live in Brighton, but a part of my heart does!
