two people have recommended punker bunker to me - that's also in the lanes, beneath a ska clothes shop apparently (34 Sydney Street)

dave's comics, also in the lanes, has an awesome selection of graphic novels and one of the two shops has some zines by the till. i thought they were a bit pricey and when i asked why the guy said it's the zinesters price them and dave takes a cut. (5 Sydney Street)

Punker Bunker is definately the main place, they have shit loads from all over the UK, and they order through Micorcosm as well so can get pretty much anything in! Dave's are good but you can buy most zines from there cheaper at the Punker Bunker (though not the case for the more comic based stuff). The Open Gallery has some more arty zines on sale (and generally good art exhibitions), The Cowley zine library is getting really good now as well, will have a think for some more!

definitely all sorts! I've had more non-music zines from there than music but you do get your MR&Rs etc

ah good. it's in the north laine right? I thought it was just a record shop before, and I didn't go in, because I've been avoiding records shops to avoid the temptation of splurging (ah, why does moving house have to be so expensive?)

i'm not sure what the roads are called as I'm not often in brighton and I navigate by pubs anyway:P I think its on the same road as the comic shop.
