Hi, all- the first press of Issue #001 of our zine "If you'd like to hear it // I can sing it for you" is done! Our zine is focused on the negotiation of an aging body and a “forgetful” self in an unaccommodating world, as well as accounts of chronic illness and the end-of-life experiences of an aging self. Based in Berkeley, CA, and handmade from start-to-finish.

You can check out our Tumblr and Facebook. Our zines are available on our webstore, where they are selling for $1.00 + postage. Thank you for your support, and I am looking forward to sharing our work with you all. Cheers!

Hello zinesters! I am 20 years old, live in San Francisco and publish a music magazine called TEENAGE NEWS. I would love to trade, sell or give you fine folks a copy.

In short, "TEENAGE NEWS is based around an unceasing desire to rediscover long-lost, favorite records. TEENAGE NEWS is not limited to a specific audience; it is for those who are trying to recreate that initial captivation of falling for an album, artist, song, era, ideology, etc. TEENAGE NEWS is about the reader getting lost in the moment, learning about themselves, and learning about the STARS that created much more than pieces of merchandise."

Issue #2 proves that TEENAGE NEWS always hits you full force. Back with educating and entertaining interviews, prepare to lose yourself in this teenage paradise.

Features: Cherie Currie (Runaways), Gary Powell (Libertines, Dirty Pretty Things), Jennifer Clavin (Bleached), Klaus Nomi, Dave Davies (The Kinks), Cherry Vanilla's Pop Tart Compositions, Joey Pinter, Bobby Jameson, Tommy James (the Shondells), Desert Island Discs by the STARS, The Mutants, Vinnie Kircher (Jaill), album reviews.

Hello. I'm new to this group, and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Scott. I recently moved here from Portland, Oregon, where the zine scene is alive and crazy cool. If you're heading up that way, don't miss the Portland Zine Symposium, August 11-12, 2012. It's a fun opportunity to meet fellow zinesters. At this time, my living situation is prohibitive for producing zines. When that changes, I'll make them available here, and on my website:

I'm looking forward to finding out what the Bay Area zine scene is all about. Maybe I'll meet a few of you along the way. [=

I'll be wheeling and dealing at SF Zinefest. I wanted to go halfsies on a table since I don't have too much merchandise. Anyone interested?

I'm gonna try to get a table to the SF Zinefest in September, maybe I'll see some of youz there?

Comment by Angela Roberts on September 23, 2011 at 11:08pm

Wicked! I'll see you there or give you a call. I have ya number some where around here. I looked into the tables, and as I am a tight-wad, opted out.
