northern cali zine tour on eve of 2010 zine fest

hello -- i'm tomas moniz, writer and editor of rad dad, a zine on
radical parenting

i had this idea for a northern cali art/zine tour the week before the
sf zine fest (sept 4-5) -- and i'm wondering if you might like to be
involved –

tentative dates:

santa cruz sat 28th,
san jo sun 29th
oakland tues 31st
davis/scato weds  1st
santa rosa thurs 2nd
sf fri 3rd

I would also get one or two local writers from each city to read with
us – but no more than 6 total zinesters so the event doesn’t last
longer than 75 mins…

my idea but I don’t know if it’s a practical one would be to have a
visual component first (art/slide show/video/comics ) then some readers …

we have two set people who can do all the dates -- i'd like maybe two more and then people who'd like to read at site specific dates.

so my first question is – are you interested…is it something you would
want to do…

then do the dates work, some or all

could you help set up a spot, do you know people or a place to do a reading…

this is just in the tentative stage so any suggestions or concerns are
welcome...

try book zoo in oakland. they do reading things like and small acoustic shows.
its also one of the places i distribute my zines.
ill definitely be there if it goes according to plan.

I'm in Sacramento--Luna's Cafe does readings but Wednesday nights are comedy nights (the first is a Wednesday).

In Davis there's Avid Reader, and they have readings there.

I would be interested in reading with you--I could read from my mental health zine functionally ill.

Oh, the Book Collector in Sac has readings too.
