Hey Luke, well I know she's still active on facebook (she's friends with Sticky on there isn't she)? She might be focusing on roller derby training at the moment as I think she's part of Team Australia, and will be competing internationally I think sometime this year.

I have tried email and Facebook but she is not responding.  I visited the shop in Newcastle last week and it was gone and another Renew shop had taken its place.

Luke at Sticky here.

I have been trying to get in contact with Susy Pow to see what is happening with Bird In The Hand Zine Distro, but have been unable to contact her.  We have been getting lots of emails at Sticky from people trying to contact her to find out if the distro is still running.  Are you still out there Susy?  Does anyone know what is happening with the distro?

Anyone going to their 'local' occupy protest? I'm going to Occupy Melbourne tomorrow and will try to gather enough materials to put together a zine for it. Would love to hear of anyone else who has the same idea.

Hi folks, just doing some shameless zine promotion - I have a new zine out, Tomorrow's Machine Today #2, about a band called The Fall and a writer called H P Lovecraft. Not a fanzine so much as an essay about class, art n politics, the usual stuff I rant on about. It's $2.50 and available now from takecarezines.org, will be available at the MCA zine fair on the 22nd of May, and thereafter I'll try to get copies to other distros (a bit too skint to send them out at the mo'). On that note, you can also bulk order my old zines and receive free postage when you do so, and subscribe to my future zine projects, if you have a look here on my blog you will learn how. This is an odd post, I know, but Moira Clunie and I (both zinesters , opening up a zine/art space in NZ) are visiting Melbourne this weekend (friday-wednesday) anyway, we were hoping to crash with some other zinesters. Can anyone in Melbounre host us for a few nights? We're nice and love zines and make delicious vegan food
