So there's the recently opened 'A Zine Thing' distro in Frankston area, Sticky in Melbourne, Aunty Mabel's Zine Distro in WA... Surely I'm missing some. Perhaps heaps.
For Nutella world domination, yes.
D: And one of those just opened up! Everything is falling into place...
I've been seeing those 1L tubs of Nutella... like, where do you even get those!?
I like the sound of the first - sounds like poetry for the masses. Google does well for Elizabeth Tan.FYI - never read the dietary information on the back of the Nutella jar!https://www.tumblr.com/tagged/photocopy-press The third looks like an interesting i-novel. They're popular in Japan, and I think the Western world will learn to appreciate it more through the rest of this decade. If you haven't, you should take a week off school/work/minecraft to read Ruth Ozeki's 'For the Time Being' because it's just amazing.
I'm only recently (for the past few months) getting back into the swing of things. Some all-time favourites are:
*Instructions for surviving the ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE in rhyming couplets
*The Nutella Cookbook
The first is just plain funny, the second is for my love of Nutella, and the third... is so much like a little magazine with all kinds of bits and bobs. I love it. I only have one and two, so I must hunt down more.
So while the small few are active, should we talk zines? Zines that you've been particularly fond of - go!
