Hi all,
Flaps will be there with a new Hate mail edition, plus some recently found back issues (yes we are a little disorganised). Plus I will have a series of zines I made in Japan. Come past for swaps or to say hi,

looking forward to it! Thanks so much to Sticky for the organisation!

that's ace! will keep an eye out for you daniel!! this will be my first ever public appearance with other 'zinester crew, so only slightly terrified! fingers crossed that its all well received and sunny day! the whole event sounds spectacular!! and I don't get out (of state) much with the family, so will have to curb my enthusiasm upon entrance or may get a few looks..
anyway - thanks for responding/heads up!! hopefully see you there! :)

Hello fellow aussie-zinesters!

I was just wondering... how many of you are going to be at nga zine fair as part of the space invaders art exhibition Oct 30th???

"Drawn entirely from the collection of the National Gallery of Australia, the first Australian institution to have collected this type of work, Space invaders: australian . street . stencils . posters . paste-ups . zines . stickers surveys the past 10 years of Australian street art. Featuring 150 works by over 40 Australian artists, this exhibition celebrates the energy of street-based creativity and recognises street stencils, posters, paste-ups, zines and stickers as comprising a recent chapter in the development of Australian prints and drawings.. "

I'll be there, wondering who I may get to meet from wmz network of zine makers??? hopefully see some of you there :)

Candace that's awesome, dunno how I missed that entirely. I've been looking around for perth zinesters and somehow just kept missing them, not finding info etc. Thanks for the link!

They're definitely around here occasionally, Alice. There's a zine collective they've started up:

If you're in Sydney on Sunday July 18th come along to the first Zine Show and Tell at Urchin Books in Marrickville.
It's an afternoon for getting together and talking zines, drinking tea, eating cake, and other such fun things. Come along! If you have made one zine or one hundred zines, or if you are just zine-curious, you are welcome. Please bring something for show and tell (zine related or otherwise).
