Zinesters who are Screen Printers

Hi im new here.

Anybody else out there double dipping and printing some rad stuff for your zines?  Ive done quite a few covers for zines of mine.  Here's a picture:

I've seen sticker sheet inserts in some zines too.  Anybody have experience making some of those?

i do some screen printing, separate from zines.  on occasion i've screened my covers.  a few issues back i included some block-printed stickers with my zines.  it's good to mix it up once in awhile.

Hi! I am also new to this site. I make prints and insert them into a small zine my friends and I have started called Bollokscraft Zine. I want to make silkscreened covers for a small run of zine covers. I'm looking to do screen printing without access to a "proper" studio. If you have any pointers on how to do that I am all ears. As for the sticker sheet inserts, sound cool.

I'd like to make screen printed covers but don't have the space where I live. I'd love to do 5 or 6 color screens and make awesome covers. -Chris

I used a print gocco to make the covers for one of my zines. Which is *kind of* like screen printing, but lots easier. I really love it when I can tell someone has put hand-done touches on their zine, it makes me much more likely to pick it up. The bad part (and the good part) was that my zine sold a lot better than I thought it would, so I ended up having to choose between letting it go out of print and spending hours and hours making new ones. So in retrospect I might have either planned to do a limited run, or made a less time consuming design. But overall I'm glad I did it!
