We Make Zines

a place for zinesters - writers and readers

Hey Everyone,
I am starting a zine library for my afterschool program. I also planning a field trip to the Denver Zine Library in the near future, but I would like some on hand for the kids to see the variety of zines available. Keep in mind my program is at a church, so zines about sex and stuff like that I can't share. I am fine with grrrrl zines and art zines and photos zines and am okay with zines with rough language, as my kids are more street kids than they are church kids. I will have to be careful about having some out on display, but I really do want a wide variety of zines for the kids to see. If you y'all have any questions just let me know.

I will send you a copy of my very rated PG poetry zine, if that will help. Please let me know to what address I should send it.
thanks, I left you a message
Hi Jeff,

Here are some teen zine suggestions from members the Zine Librarians list:

I hope you'll consider joining the discussion list if you're not already on it http://groups.yahoo.com/group/zinelibrarians . There's also a Zine Librarians group on this ning, which I don't think this is a post to, right?

Jenna, who finds nings kind of non-intuitive
Hey Chantel, thanks for the copies of the zines. I got them last week and have enjoyed reading both. I"m sorry it has taken so long to acknowledge their arrival. Thanks again.

Jenna...thanks for the info, it's super-helpful.
