We Make Zines

a place for zinesters - writers and readers

so I was wondering when you should make a new zine issue? write now I have some first issue's I'm working on. But when should you make a second issue or a third?. I was thinking maybe if the first issue goes well and has a high interest then you make a second issue. Or do you just keep making issues and see what happens?

Well basically I just make a new volume/issue once I've finished the first, and if I'm still interested in the subject(s). from a business standpoint though, it would only be cost-effective to print another issue if the first issue sold well or had a high level of interest. usually zines aren't from a business standpoint though, they just keep going regardless of profit.

wow okay that's a long inconclusive answer. Basically, to answer specifically, I just keep making issues and see what happens.
