We Make Zines

a place for zinesters - writers and readers

Have you submitted your zine yet? There is still time to donate your zine for the greater community to read. The exhibition was moved to February 2009 and we plan on having an open zine workshop and scrap lounge.

Hi Red!
Nice to hear from you again!
Elke was telling me about this project when I visited her in Austria, sounds amazing!
Margarat has been doing a great job discovering zines, but it is still a challenge to find a well-represented gamut of zines. Your response is prompting me to do a "catalog" of zines submitted and displayed. That way, I could send out the list to you.
Send the word to UK zinesters about this show, we'd love to have international as well!

will spread the word! i'm organising a zine fest here in london too (24th January 2008), www.myspace.com/zinefest

catalogue sounds aces!! was also thinking it would be good to find more zines for the zine book on Palestine/solidarity, Olympics gentrification and women-led actions against it, HIV, dis/ability, globalization, transnational activist histories, alternative economies, and general feminist ruckus zines that have an internationalist perspective phew! ;)
