We Make Zines

a place for zinesters - writers and readers

Hi y'all, it's been awhile since i posted on here...

I'm currently in middle of getting a Masters of Library Science. For my thesis my partner and I decided to build a website for a specific zine collection.

This is the site: http://qcarchives.com/zineproject/

We organized the collection, digitized the covers only, and recorded information like author, title, date, location, and copyright statement. We're looking for people to take a look at the site and add any comments or information that they see fit. Recognize the zine and know what year it came out? Add a comment! Remember picking up this zine at a show years ago? Add a comment! The goal is to map the history and movement of zines and create some neat visualizations from the data.

Please take a look and if you have any questions let me know!

This sounds very cool, I'll check it out!

This is great!

I went to the site and searched for Trouveare's Laureate - because that's the first place I was ever published. Ever. I mean aside from the school thing. Alas, it's not there. I hope you find some of it!
