Would anyone be interested in reading a ferret zine?

I know there are lots animal lovers among zinesters, but are any of you ferret fans? I've got three little woozles myself and I'd love to do a zine about them and about ferrets in general. Funny stories, photos, jokes, info on health and ferret play and enrichment, and also a lot on natural raw/whole prey diets for ferrets, as this is something I've been reading a lot about and attempting with my girls. I could do interviews with ferret judges, rescue coordinators, and breeders...just whatever interesting ferret stuff I could find. I would write and edit it at first, but I'd be very open to submissions as well. If there's enough interest, I'll post about it on the ferret forums too and see if anyone there wants to contribute. Just thought I'd get some feedback before I pour my heart and soul and jumbo gluestick into it!

I'd read and have stuff to contribute to it.
I can't seem to get my two ferrets to try anything that isn't sweet, Ferrovite, or dried food. Their first owner fed them chocolate and ice cream and soda all the time (as well as only letting them out once a month or so), so even a tiny piece of chicken covered in Ferrovite only gets licked, not eaten.

If you don't mind me asking, how old are your ferrets? PM me if you wanna talk food...I love discussing ferret diet and might be able to help you, although I'm pretty new to the raw switch myself. But I got two of my kibble-spoiled girls to hunt the other night, so I'm on the right track, I hope! I can recommend a great ferret forum that might be able to help you too!

They're close to the 2 years old now, according to their previous owner. They're still so excited to be able to go out of their cage on a regular basis that they spend all their time playing, and try to protest being put back in their cage, even if they're already asleep on the floor. They're not litterbox trained, but at least they don't bite. Only one of them will nip when we're playing, and she barely puts her teeth on me, and then will furiously lick my hand to make sure I'm not mad.

Ferrets are pretty cool. We used to have one, but he was very old and died. we have lots of pictures! He lived a very good life for a ferret. He even has a myspace! RIP Snoopy!

Yeah,I love Ferrets =]
i've had 4 of them....the last one I had(Snoopy) I had him for about 5 years..he died last summer..he was an amazing ferret...he was really mellow,he was cool =]
But yeah,I think a zine about ferrets would be interesting =]

I have 4 hairless rats, one guinea pig, and a tarantula. I'd be happy to write about any of them, for your zine?

There needs to be a ferret zine!!! I used to have 2 but they both got old and died of cancer... as most ferrets do.... sigh... I miss their clucking...

Sure! You might have to bug a me a few times before I get it done. I am either very forgetful or very absent minded... I suppose the wording is up to you, comes out the same though. I'm still working on your letter! I feel bad it's taking so long, but I keep getting distracted...
