a place for zinesters - writers and readers
The Wooden Shoe (where I staff) is looking for a cool supplier of infoshop swag. Do you make any of this stuff? Know someone who does? We're interested in buying bulk, wholesale of radical/lefty political stuff. Get in touch!

Permalink Reply by Britani Sadovski on March 21, 2012 at 1:30pm Sunflower Skins makes buttons! We bought from a Canadian distributor linked to Badge-A-Minit:
345 North Lewis Avenue / Oglesby, Illinois / 61348 (www.badgeaminit.com)
It arrived quickly and with easy instructions; we were buttoning in no time. Here's an example of some that we made:
I highly recommend this company, especially its local distributors, if you can find one. Hope this helps!

Permalink Reply by Sarah Arr! on March 23, 2012 at 12:14pm We just ordered a bunch of buttons from Alex, as well as some cool punk pins from a local vendor. I think we're going to wind up ordering some shirts and postcards and stickers from Hungry Knife as well. They seem like a good bunch of folks.

Permalink Reply by Oscar Arriola on March 28, 2012 at 10:52am I've always been happy with the service from Busy Beaver Button Co. in Chicago. They make custom buttons with any design you submit. They have really fast turnaround and the printing is really good as well.
Here's some photo buttons I made with them a few years ago.
