What's the craziest thing you have done for content for your zine?

My girlfriend and I were driving from Ann Arbor to Portland Oregon to move. We were camping and had not yet found a place. I had no job and this was a big unknown.

So I got the local city paper and was looking at the ads. The paper had those "adult services" ads and I joke with my girlfriend that I should do that for a job.

Not to have sex, but to offer dominatrix/humiliation services. The idea brought out my inner boss, which in general, I have always been the underling at my jobs and perhaps secretly wished to turn the tables.

I never did place the ad, but a comic story line, which is the focus of my next zine, came out of the experience.

While writing my zine, I realized that I knew next to nothing about Doms, SM, etc...so this zine will lead me to go to an SM outfitter outside Detroit and do some research/interview some experts.

By crazy standards this pretty tame, but I am not sure I would be exploring this area if it was not for my zine.
