The Zine a Month Challenge

OK.

 

It has been a while since I put out a zine.

 

Excuse List: School, work, winter, netflix video marathons of complete TV show series runs (I say just one more show and before I know it, it is like 3 am and I watched 6 shows in a row.)

 

I have decided that this will not do.

 

So I am creating "The Zine a Month Challenge." 

 

The rules of this challenge are simple.

 

Create and hold in your hand one completed copy of your zine by the end of each month.

 

You can do this for the entire year or select how many months you want.

 

Start date is April 1

 

To join, post a pictures or announcement when you have finished your zine in this discussion

i've tried to do this on my own.. i did one zine that was literally dated and i wrote a little something everyday.. so yes, it's do-able.. i'm going to try to do this. i haven't zined in months and i miss it.. thanks for the push.. :)

Ok, I just got on here and saw this great idea.

I started a new zine yesterday so I'm already kind of on track.

 

This goal is totally do-able and should be fun.

Would love to see how everyone else's turn out.

I am a little behind, but I plan to do some work on my zine tonight.

A month is up. How did everyone do?

 

I'll just say it. I am not finished with my zine yet.

 

Excuse: It is the end of the semester and all of my energy had to go to my classes.

 

With that said, I did more work on my new zine then I had done in months, and with classes ending tomorrow, I will definitely get my zine done by next week during break.

 

My zine is about time travel.

I failed to get mine completed however i only have a few pages left so along with this months I will get that completed.. im sure if i keep at it eventually I will get done in the month! :P

I support you folks in this undertaking. In my case it would be a exercise in not censoring myself, which is what keeps me from putting things out. I'm too self-conscious and rewrite too many times.
