The Sketchbook Project 2011

Howdy Folks,

 

I just attended a fun talk by the create of chickengirldesign.com

 

She had participated in the Sketchbook Project. The project consisted of handing out some 28,000+ sketchbooks to artists who then filled them with comics, writing art etc...

the finished books were then sent about to Brooklyn Art Library to be put into circulation.

She posted her book online through flickr, which I thought was an easy way to online publish a zine because the slide show view lets people click back and fourth between pages.

The project could be a fun thing to start with a local zine library.
