We Make Zines

a place for zinesters - writers and readers

As some of you can see, I've announced my latest Pterodactyl, but due to incompetence, I didn't do that one the NIAT. (Excuse me.)

But I've been a little hesitant about the NIAT anyway. Is this a good way to announce a new issue? When somebody clicks onto it when it appears at the top of the forum list, it doesn't actually show the latest issue announced, does it? Maybe that's not a big problem, because all you have to do is go to the last page and hit control + end to reach the bottom. But are people likely to do that? Maybe they are.

I may be make more of this than necessary. Has the NIAT worked for you? Do think that maybe it should be re-configured differently than most threads, so that the latest addition goes to the first page and the first entry-space? Has anybody had reservations about the NIAt at all, was a little concerned that their announcement might be buried or go unnoticed?

I'm asking as a computer-semi-literate.

P.S.---Has anybody had problems with a glitchy, jittery, text box that won't show the bottom line very well?

I use it, but usually only when the poster puts their address in the post. That way I can just scribble it down and mail my order.

I use it for my new issues of zines too, but I don't really think I've sold any zines that way.

That's what I always do.

And I do always read the latest updates on that thread, I appreciate people posting about their new zines there.
