Sorry I've been quiet on here for so long. Attack!!!!
was on hiatus for a little while when I was trying to get my Two Heads
project moving - didn't work, but I'm still going to finish Two Heads and Attack!!!! is cranking back up now (submission details for upcoming issues here
So, it's good to be back. But I'm also asking for help!
Last week I started a RATM-inspired chart campaign facebook group (please bear with me...) called Storm the Charts which is looking to select 40 bands or artists who are unsigned or with independent labels to see if we can get *any* (ideally more than one) into the UK top 40 in the same week.

. Needless to say, this is not the same thing as a zine. The only reason I thought that some people on these boards might be able to relate is that it's going to be focussed around largely DIY musicians and DIY labels. There will be some bigger independents put acts forward too no doubt but overall I'm hoping to give people a shot who otherwise would have no shot at all at it. And also I just thought some people round here might think it fun...
This is some online coverage we've had so far for the campaign:
So... music zinesters? Zinesters who are also musicians? Alternative press in general? Are any of you with me, or do you know any musicians who might be right for this? The more different they sound to what you can hear on daytime radio any other day of the week the better. I know the charts aren't important, I'm prepared for some of you to hate the whole thing altogether, but the key thing about it is going to be about finding some great new music together.
