We Make Zines

a place for zinesters - writers and readers

Hello,

Ladyfest Oxford (UK) are holding a Crafternoon and mini zinefest on Saturday 23rd May. We're planning on holding a number of workshops focusing on crafting and DIY and are looking for a zinester who would be interested in running a workshop.

The session would be about an hour long and we will provide any materials/support needed. The subject could be anything from the history of zines to why DIY is important or how to make your first zine.

If you are interested or would like some more details, please message me.

Thanks!

I could maybe do some sort of workshop on distros? For people interested in working with distros (and show they aren't scary!), people interested in setting up a distro and people just interested in hearing about how distros work behind the scenes... that kinda thing?
That could happen - we need to arrange trains/lifts from Leeds/Sheffield/Leicester but that's doable, right?
Thanks for arranging to do this Lizzy!
I'm leaving the UK a day before or I would totally help out. sorry!
