Reading Tours (for zinesters), info on booking one

Hey I am going on a trip to the east coast/midwest/south and wanted to see about booking some reading while I go out that way. I figure there are some people who do monthly reading series, know of spaces that have open mics, or of places that will book an independent reading event.

I am hitting up: Ann Arbor (MI), Cleveland (OH), Pittsburgh (PA), Montreal (CN), Toronto (CN), Boston (MA), NYC, DC, Chapel Hill (NC), ATL, STL, and Lexington (KY).

Can anyone post info that might help aid in my request.
Also, post info on your own city or town in the case others might want to come there to read, hang, etc.

Thanks.

If you decide to go through Richmond, VA we have an independent bookstore here called Chop Suey which regularly hosts readings. If interested you can get in touch with them here: http://www.chopsueybooks.com/
Bluestockings in New York has events.
Is that list the order in which you're traveling? If so, you'll be going right through Syracuse, NY on your way to Boston from Toronto. There are TONS of open mic nights in Syracuse and it's suburbs.

Depending on when you're traveling through, I might be able to hook you up with the local community college for a reading too.

Edit: If you go through Syracuse, you'll more likely than not be going through Rochester and Albany too...I'm sure there's tons of open mics there too.
I'm about to embark on a zine tour next week! Zines On Toast! I would suggest looking for shops that carry zines in that area as well as zine libraries in that area. The papercut zine library in Boston is a good one.
thanks for your help all. i will be in touch with some of you and look into the resources you've presented.
much help.
