a place for zinesters - writers and readers
Hi guys and gals,
I'm beginning some research for a university project on Poetry and Illustration and how poetry can be represented visually. I figured the zines community would have some beautiful examples of just that idea and thought I'd put a shout out to you all. Do you/have you illustrated poetry? Are you a poet who has had their work illustrated? What's your opinion on visual representation of poetry? Do you have a favourite example/zine featuring visually represented poems?
If you'd like to answer some questions for me or you have examples of illustrated poetry, give me a bell! I'm happy to buy zines with poetry/illustration so let me know if you make them! My aim is to illustrate a collection of poetry for my 3rd year project at university, so I would love to see examples, talk to fellow illustrators/poets or even those of you who make poetry zines who maybe chose to include artwork.
